The Little Bit of Heaven Bed and Breakfast is located at 21 South Main St, Silver Springs, NY 14550 which
is seven (7) miles from the Castile entrance to Letchworth State Park. It is a smoke free facility which provides
unique lodging accomodations for its guests. The B & B is in a beautiful Victorian House built in
1893 by Mr. Joseph Duncan and his wife Addie. Mr. Duncan was the first Mayor of Silver Springs and owner of the local salt
mine. The mine is now part of Morton Salt Company. Mr and Mrs Duncan entertained both Theodore Roosevelt and Booker
T. Washington in the home.
Elegance and charm describe the decor of this beautiful home. The first floor hosts a spacious living room
and front parlor for relaxing and conversation. The house has two enclosed porches which open onto the grounds and provide
an area for privacy and quiet reflection. The formal dining room provides an elegant setting for breakfast, which is routinely
served at 8:30 a.m. The Little Bit of Heaven has high speed wireless internet available for the guests plus cable
TV with DVD and VHS in each room. There are a large number of DVDs and VHS videos available for the guests.
Little Bit of Heaven Bed and Breakfast is a favorite of those who love the outdoors and small rural towns.
It is surrounded by many attractions such as: Letchworth State Park (the Grand Canyon of the East), Silver Lake, antique shops,
golf courses, Swain Ski Area, cross country ski areas, hiking trails, white water rafting, hot air balooning, stables, numerous
trout streams and hunting areas. It is close to Houghton College and the University at Geneseo.
The Bed and Breakfast is also centrally located for day trips to the Finger Lakes, Niagara Falls, Canada,
local wineries, Corning Glass Works, museums, baseball games, Buffalo Bills football games, and Darien Lake Amusement Park.

Little Bit of Heaven has four (4) rooms:
Theodore Roosevelt Suite: This is a spacious bedroom with a private sitting area,
cable T.V. with DVD and VHS, wireless high speed internet, air conditioner, antique furnishings, hardwood floors,
oriental rugs, ornate queen size bed, ceiling fan, private deck, stained glass window, and private bath, with shower.
Luxurious accommodations for honeymoon or anniversary. Rate per night $98.
Booker T. Washington Room: This is a large room with a queen size white cast iron
bed, cable T.V. with DVD and VHS, high speed wireless Internet, air conditioner, antique furnishings, private
whirlpool tub, ceiling fan, and private bath. Rate per night $80.
Joseph Schamberger Room: This room has a queen size high back oak bed, cable
T.V. with DVD and VHS, wireless high speed internet, air conditioner, ceiling fan, built in closet with double
full length mirror, antique furnishings, beautiful hardwood floors, and a private bath, with shower. Rate per night $75.
Joseph Duncan Room: The is a first floor bedroom with beautiful hardwood floors, twin
beds which can be converted to a king size bed, cable T.V. with DVD and VHS, high speed wireless internet,
air conditioner, antique furnishings, and private bath with dressing/ makeup area. Rate per night $80.

VISA, Master Card and Discover cards are accepted as well as Travelers Checks, and cash.
The appropriate sales tax and occupancy tax will be added to the room charges. Currently it is 11 percent.
Over two occupants an additional charge of $10 per person per night will be added to the room rate.
A 5% discount is offered to AAA members and a 10% discount is offered to AARP members.(discount is not cumulative
- maximum discount is 10%). Please call (585-493-2434) or e-mail (kempdl@yahoo.com) to have discounts apply to your
reservation.
Pets are not accomodated
Reservations are requested to be made at least one week in advance. One night deposit per room is required
with the remainder due upon arrival.
Reservations are confirmed as deposits are received. Deposits will be refunded (minus $25 service charge)
if cancellations are received by me (e-mail or a telephone call is acceptable) at least 5 days prior to the date of stay or
if the rooms are re-booked for that period. If the cancellation is not received at least 5 days prior to the date of stay
and the room is not re-booked the deposit will be forfeited. No credit for late arrival or early departure.
Quiet Hours: 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Check-in: 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Check-out: 11:00 a.m.
DIRECTIONS: FROM ROCHESTER: Take 390 south to Geneseo Exit 8, take 20 A
(toward Geneseo). Go 12 miles to Five Corners, stay straight onto NY 39. Follow NY 39, 7 miles (through Perry) and turn right
onto East Lake Road. Go 3.5 miles and turn left on Main Street, Silver Springs. B & B is on the right side about 1/2 mile
from turn.
FROM BUFFALO: Take 400 south to East Aurora and follow 20A east to Warsaw.At light, turn
right on 19 south and follow it to Route 19A (about 4 miles). Follow 19A to Silver Springs. At the caution light in Silver
Springs take a left onto Church St. Go to the end of Church St (about 100 yards) take a right onto Main St.
The Little Bit of Heaven is third house on the right.
FROM CORNING 7 SOUTHERN TIER: Take 17 west to 390 north to Exit 5 (Dansville). Turn right
on 36 south. Go 1 mile and turn right on 436. Follow 436 west (22 miles) through Nunda & Portageville, turning right on
19A. Follow 19A 6 miles to Silver Springs. Turn right at the caution light, go to the end of the Church Street (about 100
yards) and turn right. B & B is the third house on the right.
